More than 600 million pounds of candy are purchased each year for Halloween. This year you don’t have to trash those candy wrappers and doom them to an eternity in a landfill—or, even worse, in our oceans.
Thanks to the Trick or Trash program-You can recycle your candy wrappers! Find designated candy wrapper recycling bins in five Laingsburg locations! -The Greater Laingsburg Community Recycling Center -The Laingsburg Dairy Den -Laingsburg Elementary School Office -Laingsburg Middle School Office -Laingsburg High School Office Collect and recycle your candy wrappers in designated Trick or Trash boxes.
GLR will be hosting a community open house for the Greater Laingsburg Community Recycling Center's Grand Opening! Help us celebrate this exciting and important addition to our community.
