We are excited to announce that the Greater Laingsburg Community Recycling Center is open! Please come visit us at 7500 Woodbury Road, Laingsburg, MI 48848.
The drive-thru, drop off recycling center is open the 1st and 3rd Tuesday (4pm-6pm) and the 2nd and 4th Saturday (9am-1pm) each month. We are partnering with Laingsburg Community Schools and the City of Laingsburg to make this happen. We are very excited to expand recycling services in our small town and surrounding communities!
We receive grants, donations from individuals, and pledged funding from community governments that covered most of the costs for the construction of the Greater Laingsburg Community Recycling Center (GLCRC). Thank you, one and all!
But, additional funds will be needed to continue operations, expand materials collected, and community outreach and education. Donations can be made through PayPal or checks can be mailed to Greater Laingsburg Recyclers, P.O. Box 174, Laingsburg, MI 48848.
We’re also looking to build our volunteer corps so that we can be open more frequently. If you’d be willing to work even a single shift a month, we would love to have you join our ranks for building a sustainable future in our own backyard.
